What is BE ZEN™?

Ask the creator of the brand, French Fashionista Isabelle Joffre, and she will tell you, “A lifestyle brand with an attitude”! BE ZEN™ was born from a conversation between Isabelle and her sister Gisèle that ended with ‘Come on, Be Zen™’! For Isabelle, it was an Ah-ha moment and the start of The adventure. The first “BE ZEN™ by Isabelle” shirts were born, with rhinestones, screenprint, heat transfer, patchwork.. It was an immediate success among friends and family. Word of mouth spread, and demand got higher as more and more people wanted to wear Be Zen™ products. “BE ZEN™” branded products are now worn by people all over the world. Be Zen™ embodies the spirit of freedom with style. It really is enticing to put on a Be Zen™ shirt and say, “it feels great to have a Be Zen™ attitude”; believe it or not, this kind of attitude makes you realize the fundamentals of living life to its fullest. And our goal, through our sassy, high-quality lifestyle brand, is to make people realize how important it is to Be Zen™!

There are two BE ZEN™ mottos: “It’s your life, do what you want, but whatever you do... BE ZEN™” and “BE ZEN™ in life. for life.” The objective is that whatever adversity comes into your life, you have to have a BE ZEN™ attitude.

Thank you, we love it too! The colors in the Be Zen™ logo represent the symbols of the State of California. The navy Blue represents the Benitoite gem (also called blue diamond) that is a rare mineral found in the San Benito area. Gold for, well... the gold (in reference to the Gold rush!) The lighter blue represents California’s blue skies and clear Ocean waters. And the sun of course because we worship the sun and it’s always sunny in California!
